GIYANI: Police in Malamulele have launched a search operation for a missing woman who was last seen on August 19.

Police in Malamulele outside Giyani have launched a massive search operation for a missing woman.

Matsini Myrantine Mysho, 23, went missing on August 19 from Mhangweni Village near Tzaneen.

It is alleged that the victim went missing while en route to visit her boyfriend in the nearby village, during which she hitch-hicked and got a lift from an unknown vehicle.

Since that day, she has not been seen again, and efforts to locate her have proved unsuccessful.

She is dark in complexion, medium in size with blonde hair and she was last seen wearing a black pair of jeans and a pink T-shirt.

Anyone who knows her whereabouts, or has any information with regards to the matter, may contact the nearest police station or the Crime Stop number at 086 001 0111 or the Crime Line SMS at 32211.

The search operation and police investigations are still ongoing.
