The Pharmacy department embarked on a fun walk from the hospital to Tzaneen Dam in order to raise awareness.

This year’s pharmacy month theme is ‘Don’t wait vaccinate.’

“To raise awareness about the importance of vaccination in all stages of life; from birth, teenage, adult life,” explained

Lebogang Ramapuputla, Community Service Pharmacist and organiser of the Fun Walk.

The team will continue to honour the initiative by wearing the pharmacy month pink t-shirt every Friday through-out September.

The walk resulted in a tie between, Rito Shiburi, Nkateko Ndlala and Bornwise Shibur.

Ramapuputla also told Letaba herald that next year’s fun walk will be even bigger and it will involve other departments from the hospital.
