Second annual AgriGolf Day coming up

After what was a successful 2016 tournament, Greater Tzaneen Municipality will be hosting its second annual AgriGolf Tournament at Tzaneen Country Club (TCC) on October 6.

The 2016 tournament was a roaring success through which they raised R100 000 that went towards supporting up-and-coming farmers and other agricultural projects in the Tzaneen area. This year however, they are aiming to raise R200 000 to go towards the agricultural sector in Tzaneen and surrounds.

The costs to enter the tournament are R2000 per team, which include a halfway house lunch, attendance of the prize-giving ceremony and a tournament shirt.

Entry forms are available on www.tzaneen.gov.za and www.tzaneencountryclub.co.za.

Proof of payment must be e-mailed along with the entry form to the e-mail provided below on or before September 30.

You will also have the opportunity to be a day sponsor at the cost of R50 000 which includes: Branding of the clubhouse and prize-giving area, a four-ball for the tournament as well as a hole that you will be able to brand.

The tournament will be advertised on both radio and in print media and your company will be given recognition in all publications and programmes of the event. You will also be offered two seats at the gala dinner/official opening on September 27.

There is also the opportunity to sponsor a hole at the event. A hole sponsor will receive the following: A four-ball for the tournament and of course the selected hole for branding. Recognition will be given during adverts on radio and in print media. Lastly, you will receive two seats at the gala dinner/official opening on September 27.

Costs to sponsor a hole are as follows:

• 1, 3, 6, 17 – R20 000

• 2, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16 – R10 000

• 4, 8, 10, 12, 14, 18 – R5 000
