Tzaneeners urged to help with #CapeWaterCrisis

Tzaneen Care Group is calling upon Tzaneen residents to help with the water crisis in Cape Town.

As the countdown begins to ‘Day Zero’, let’s get together as a community, as we did for the Knysna fires, and send much needed water to the Western Cape province.

‘Day Zero’ is the so-called day when Cape Town is due to run out of water, as the supply will be turned off to the city.

Tzaneen Care Group is working alongside Oasis Water Tzaneen, AT-PET bottle suppliers and Gift of the Givers to organise the much needed donations of water.

The groups have come together to secure a great deal at R5.20 per 5 litre. Thus far, 15 000 litres have been donated by the Tzaneen community but we are calling upon Herald readers to increase this amount.

Water will be filled, labelled and sealed and Gift of the Givers will collect from Tzaneen Cancer Care Centre for distribution in the Cape.

The first collection date is *8th February 2018* Donors are welcome to transfer funds to Tzaneen Care Group. FNB 53961098896 Branch : 260349 REF:WATER DRIVE For any further enquiries please contact Melissa Strydom from Tzaneen Care Group: ?083 635 4132.

Letaba Herald will keep the community up to date with videos and photos of the initiative!
