TZANEEN: Body of missing pensioner found in river

Ngwako Wilson Maake (80) from ga-Ntata village was reported missing on Friday 16 March.

He was reported missing a week ago when he went to the nearby bushes to collect herbs or traditional medicines and he never returned back home, says Police spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

“A search operation was immediately activated with no success until his lifeless body was found in the river between Ntata and Mohlabang villages this week.”

The motive and cause of this death is still unknown at this stage but the Police investigations will tell as they are still continuing.

A case of inquest has been filed at the Mokwakwaila Police Station outside Tzaneen.
