BOLOBEDU: Man turns to art to make a living

An unemployed young man has turned to art to make a living.

Thomas Pilusa (39) of Morutji Village in Bolobedu South sells wooden spoons and ornaments to support his family.

Pilusa, who dropped ot of school in grade 6, said he decided to use his God-given talent to survive after struggling for many years to find employment.

“Although the money I make is not enough, but at the end of the day I am able to put food on the table,” said Pilusa.

Pilusa sells his wares at social grants pay points and at social gatherings.

His main challenge is purchasing electronic equipment so that he can expand his money making project.
