Tzaneen: Spring Day was all about #CAKES

The main objective of the event was for local women to get together, especially those in business and aspiring businesswomen to network with each other over a cup of tea and a delicious cake.

Hashtag Cake, a local cake company welcomed the new season by hosting a Spring High Tea party at Tzaneen Country Lodge on September 1.

Katekile Mathye, Owner of Mati, taught the women about the business industry and gave tips on how to make it in business.

Secondarily the day was about cakes.

Carla Makhubele, the host and the owner of Hashtag Cakes, made sure that the venue was a cake wonderland, she had prepared a number of treats ranging from mocha and coconut velvet cake with strawberry cream, cookies and mint cake, Amarula cupcakes, cookies and chocolate cake, vanilla cupcakes, orange cake and shortbread made by her mom, Notsi Makhubele.

The women were also given beauty tips and had a chance of getting a manicure done and Nandi Legodi gave make-up lessons.

“The day was a success and would like to appreciate everyone who made the day possible and wonderful by their presence and would like to have another one in the near future, ” explained Makhubele.
