Tzaneen: Your weekly crime update

Police in Tzaneen have arrested 27 people for various criminal activities over the past week.

According to the Tzaneen police spokesperson, Captain Joseph Moseri, five people were arrested for shoplifting, another five for common assault and three for general theft.

One person was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm, two for possession of stolen property and one person was arrested for the violation of a protection order.

One person was arrested for pointing of a firearm, another one for common robbery and another one for theft of a motor vehicle. One person was arrested for fraud, one for accusing someone of being a witch and five for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
