TZANEEN: Raffle raises money for young aviator
In total the raffle managed to raise R9700 which will be handed over to the Cilliers' family.
The Letaba Bassmasters Abundance Project drew the prizes for the Joshua Cilliers Fundraiser on Monday evening, October 29.
Joshua is a family member of one of the Letaba Bassmasters club members and has fished some of the club tournaments but was tragically involved in a helicopter crash in early August which claimed the life of a veterinarian.
Joshua is a passionate aviator and after the incident, was left with severe injuries but his recovery is going well – his speech has started to return and he is able to walk short distances with assistance.
His road to recovery will be a long one and so Letaba Bassmasters, through their Abundance Project, decided to raise funds for Cilliers and his family.
