Giyani ‘rape accused’ pastor out on a warning

A 24 year-old pastor who allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl was released on warning by the Giyani Magistrate's Court last week pending further police investigations.

It is alleged that the victim was allegedly raped by the pastor and his fellow pastor between October 2018 and February 2019.

The other pastor disappeared after his colleague was arrested by the police and he was still on the run at the time of going to press.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the victim reported that the two men raped her in separate incidents on different days and at different places.
