Tzaneen: Over a 1000kg stolen avos recovered

Thirteen stolen 80kg avo bags were recovered last night by Canine Security.

Canine Security received a call Wednesday night, 13 June from one of their guards who requested backup on a farm up in Agatha.

“The guard reported that he see five suspects entering an avo orchard,” Marius Jacobs from Canine said.

All reaction vehicles responded and Canine guards went in on foot blocking the suspects exit road.

‘The suspects fell for our distraction and fled towards their usual exit where they met our Canine team. They fled in different directions. The team managed to catch one suspect wearing a black security trouser and a black jersey. Thirteen 80kg bags were recovered by our team,” Jacobs said.

Tzaneen SAPS were activated and was quick to respond.

“A big thank you to the Canine team and the police for a job well done,” Jacobs said.
