#Maphalle24: Perished youths’ memorial service underway

The memorial service of the Maphalle 24 who perished in the tragic accident on the R81 on Sunday 16 June, is underway at the Ga-Rapitsi Sport Ground.

While delivering a message of condolences on behalf of Government, the MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Honorable Namane Dickson Masemola said that huge developmental strides must be made in the honor of these young people who perished on such a historic day.

Masemola urged the remaining learners and peers of the befallen to be comforted and continue to do better at school and in life as that will make them proud.

In calling upon road users to obey the law, he committed that it will be business as usual on the roads of the province and also in communities so far as criminality is concerned.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at the Ga-Rapitsi Sports Grounds at 07:00.
