TZANEEN: Loadshedding hours reduced

Finally some good news for local businesses and residents who have been bearing the loadshedding brunt.

The Greater Tzaneen Municipality has announced a new loadshedding schedule that has been reduced from three hours to two hours at a time starting 1 March.

The new schedule comes with a change in the areas and residents will have to make sure that they know in which area they have been divided into.

For example Arbor Park was previously Area 4, now it Area 10.

Here are the new areas:

Area1: Blacknol Atherstone, Phil du Toit and Haenertsburg up to Magoebasklook Ruskamp.

Area 2: Politsi, Campsiesglen, Avondshoek, Middelkop, Rooikoppies Grenshoek and Woodbush (Sentech).

Area 3: Doornhooek, Deerpark up to Mieliekloof turn-off, Lushof North, Broederstroomdrift and Mieliekloof.

Area4: Lushof South, Fairview, Portion of Yamona, Ledzee up to Fonteinplaas.

Area 5: Deerpark, Carlifonia, Gladstone, Nkowankowa and Lenyenye.

Area 6: The Plains, Laborie, Riverside, Henley, La Cotte, Taganashoek, Constantia and Miami up to Rappids.

Area 7: Waterbok, Selwane, Majeje up to Rappids.

Area 8: Letsitele Town, Granorpassi, The Junction, Letaba Estates, Valencia, Beaconsfield, and Letsitele Valley.

Area 9: Mediclinic, Golden Acres, Macadamia, Tzangeni, Aquapark part of Premier Park.

Area 10 Arbor Park, parts of Premier Park, Adamsform, Mopani District Municipality, part of CBD, King Edward and Park Streets and Circle Drive.

Area 11: Portion of Yamorna, Coach House Hasivuna, Hamawasha.

Area 12: Flora Park, Pompagalana, New Industrial Park, Medipark, Pusella Street.

Area 13: Boundary Street, Loop Street, Old Gravelotte Road, Harry Dilley, Sasol R71, KFC, Total Garage, Sugar Loaf, FET, Tzaneen Crossing Mall.

Area 14: SPUR, Hotel@Tzaneen, Tzaneng Mall, Engen Garage, part of Danie Joubert Street, Frederick Street, Bustop Clinic, Boxer and Game.

Area 15: Absa Building, FNB, Morgan Street, Post Office, Boulevard Centre, Caltex Garage and Tiger Wheel and Tyre.

Area 16: Riverside Estate, Plantation Road, Rietbok Street, KUDU Street and Talana Hostels.
