Former Tzaneen pastor wants to inspire young women through pageant

Fountain of Life Christian Centre's Faith Maimela wants to be the new Mrs South Africa.

Nkowankowa born enterpreneur and pastor, Faith Maimele, is a semi-finalist in the Mrs South Africa 2020 pageant.

Maimele says she entered the competition to be a role model to young girls. She has established a women’s ministry called Jewels of Jesus and a charity organisation called Another Chance Foundation.

She is married to Dr. Mike Maimele from Chavani Village outside Makhado, but they reside in Midrand.

The pair leads the Fountain of Life Christian Centre, which has two branches in Chavani Village and one in Johannesburg.

Both her non-profit organisations empower and provide aid to women who are destitute and have no means to support their children.

“I work hard and I am relentless in my pursuits. I am a voice for the voiceless, an advocate for change and want to transform our society and embody everything Mrs South Africa envisions,” Maimele explained.

This beauty has two degrees, one in marketing and one in theology, to her name.

The 35-year-old model urges other women to break away from being confined to being influential within the church.

“We are called to be the light of the world and in order to shine we have to be willing to step out and make our mark in the community.”

To vote for her SMS FAITH MAIMELE to 35959, R3 per SMS, free texts do not apply.
