Tzaneen’s bodybuilder wins IBFF Prodiva competition
Tzaneen bodybuilder Tracy Petersen was crowned the winner of the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IBFF) Prodiva competition in Roodepoort over the weekend.

She excitedly told Herald that during her special night she also received a pro card (a golden ticket that proves you have put in the work and competed in amateur level competitions and won).
Petersen said working out has been part of her life since she was young.
She did her first fitness competition in 2016. When asked what her career highlight was she said: “My career highlight was competing in Slovenia and winning my line-up. I also received my pro card on Saturday which is a dream come true.”

She said she is passionate about sport and when she is not busy working on her body, she enjoys running, cycling and spending time with her children.
She said making it in the bodybuilding industry one has to be dedicated and stick to a diet as it requires dedication. In past years she has also participated in the Marco Rossi completion, Fire & Ice and IFBB World Fitness Championships.
“Bodybuilding requires lots of hard work and discipline and the diet is hectic,” she said.
She advised aspiring bodybuilders to work hard and follow their diet through. She spent 10 weeks preparing for the IBFF Prodiva competition and only ate fish, chicken, asparagus and broccoli.
