Help young man to register for medicine at university

Gift Letsoalo is appealing to the public to assist him realise his dream of becoming a medical doctor.

He has been accepted to study medicine at the Nelson Mandela University but in order to enrol he has to pay R22 000 upfront, which he doesn’t have.

The 21-year-old from Tlhabine in the Maake area outside Tzaneen told the Herald that he was excited to receive the email with the good news, but his excitement was short lived.

“Words can’t explain how I felt after getting the email, because it is something I always wanted, but I don’t have the funds.

“My NSFAS has problems, I tried getting help from different sources, but to no avail.

“I plead with my whole heart for assistance.
