GTM promises residents that water will reach households soon

The bulk water pipe from Nkowankowa Water Treatment Plant has been repaired and as a result most households now have running water.

Despite this not everyone is rejoicing, as some homes are still without water.

The Greater Tzaneen Municipality (GTM) requests patience from those that are still waterless.

“As a precaution only two of the three pump machines are running.

“Water should be reaching low lying areas in no time,” explained Neville Ndlala, GTM spokesman.

Ndlala also warned that with only two pump machines running, it will take time for some areas to get water.

“Again we apologise for the inconvenience,” he concluded.
