This is the second year that the Family Day will take place in Tzaneen after the town’s ‘old favourite event’ was revived by Nadine du Plessis and Koos Smit from Smit & Kie Brokers last year after an 11-year hiatus.

“We decided to revive the Family Day last year with the goal to raise funds for three charities that are close to our hearts. Last year we donated the money raised to Goue Jare, Tzaneen SAVF and Helpende Hand Tzaneen and this year we aim to do the same,” says Du Plessis.

First prize in the age category is R2000 cash, second prize is R750 cash and third prize is R250 cash. One lucky entrant in each category will win the lucky draw prize of R250.
