GTTA elects new committee

The Greater Tzaneen Tourism Association (GTTA) has appointed Remi Anderson as the new deputy chairperson of the organisation.

This transpired during the annual general meeting (AGM) which was held at Krabbefontein recently. Anderson is a seasoned tourism professional with an impressive track record, and he emerged as the ideal candidate to lead the charge.

“With Anderson’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to the role. His appointment is expected to inject renewed enthusiasm into our tourism initiatives, ensuring that the Greater Tzaneen area, becomes a highly sought-after destination for visitors from far and near,” stated GTTA chairperson Adri Kruger.

Anderson highlighted the significance of promoting the unique cultural heritage and natural attractions that make Tzaneen exceptional.

During the meeting, two exco members were also elected, Petra Steenkamp and Mike Monyela. Kruger told the Herald that she is excited about the year ahead as they have a number of programmes, activities, and events in the pipeline.
