The businesswoman is passionate about restoring the dignity of children by donating sanitary pads, clothes, and school uniforms to disadvantaged children.
Baranuka is one of the schools that were adopted by the mayor, Merriam Malatji earlier this year during her ‘Back to School’ campaign in a quest to assist the school to improve its matric results.
Malatji thanked Miss Candy for partnering with the municipality to help keep children in class.

“We are happy with this initiative to ensure that no girl-child is left behind due to a lack of sanitary pads,” she said. Miss Candy also made a commitment that she will assist five girls from Baranuka High School with dresses for their matric dance later this year. “For this year’s matric dance, five girls from this school will be dressed by me,” she said with a beaming smile.
