Ranger has a heart for those who need help
Taking the advice of others to heart has helped a 25-year-old game ranger to find fulfillment and happiness.

Nkosinathi Khoza matriculated at Pilgrims Rest City Secondary School and started his career with the Protrack Anti-poaching Unit. Nkosinathi uses the tips he earns from tourists to buy sanitary pads for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.
“Growing up I saw my sister taking an old T-shirt and making a sanitary pad so that she can go to school,” he says. “In 2019 I started to help children attend school, sometimes using my last money. “I have a small family and when I have money left, I use it for necessities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, or even school uniforms for needy children,” he says.

“I find fulfillment and happiness in sharing what I have with others who have less than me.” He dreams of teaching children about his work in wildlife, antipoaching, and how to share what you have. “I would like to thank my family, the Barkas family, and my friends for their support,” he says.
