Fire currently under control

After hours of fighting threatening fires on multiple fronts, the fires are currently under control.

According to the Letaba Fire Protection Association (LFPA), the situation in George’s Valley and Magoebaskloof is currently under control and there is no real threat currently.

LPFA says they are still doing assessments and that at the moment they have enough donated food and water until further notice.
