Boyfriend appears before court for girlfriend’s murder
The night of July 31 and the early hours of August 1 were traumatising for the residents of Ga-Sekgopo.
This is after the body of a young woman was discovered in a shallow grave in the bushes in the Marotholong section after her boyfriend allegedly murdered her. The victim’s family reported her missing to the police on Wednesday, July 31, after realising she had not been seen since Sunday, July 21.

“A task team was established, and an investigation led police to the suspect’s residence. Upon arrival, the team noticed a blood stain on the ground and clothes that matched what the victim was last seen wearing.”
