Don represents South Africa in Hong Kong

Don Radebe selected for SA Sixes squad, joins captain JJ Smuts at 2024 Hong Kong tournament, fulfilling lifelong dream to represent SA.

LIMPOPO – Nkowankowa born and raised cricketer, Don Radebe has been selected for the South African Sixes squad that will be playing in the Sixes 2024 Hong Kong tournament.

Radebe is one of the six players selected for the tourney with the captain, JJ Smuts.

The tournament starts on Friday, November 1 to November 3.

He told the Herald that he feels excited and blessed to be part of the squad as it has always been his dream to represent the country.

The former Ben Vorster High School bowler is currently playing for the Limpopo Impalas.

In September he was named the Men’s T20 Knockout Player of the Season during the Cricket South Africa (ASA) Awards.

His message to young cricketers is to “believe in your dreams, never give up no matter how many times you fail”.
