Limpopo Rugby hosts camp for rural schools

Develop rugby skills with the Limpopo Rugby Union's high-performance skills development camp on December 6-7.

TZANEEN – The Limpopo region of the Blue Bulls Rugby Union is inviting rural schools to participate in their high-performance skills development camp, scheduled for December 6 and 7 at Gravelotte Primary School.

Douglas Modiba, the coordinator of the camp, emphasised the event’s goal of providing essential skills to schools with limited resources.

“Our focus as a union is to equip as many primary school athletes as possible so that they grasp and grow their skills and by the time they reach secondary school, they are already excellent rugby players,” said Modiba.

On Friday, December 6, primary schools (boys and girls) will participate from 10:00 to 17:00; and on Saturday, December 7, secondary schools will participate from 08:00 to 17:00.

The participation fee is R50 per player. Teams are responsible for their transport, meals, and training attire.
