Koru Camp helps empower girls

Ubuntu Girls Club enjoys game drives, yoga and self-reflection on annual trip to Koru Camp.

LIMPOPO – Koru Camp together with Timbavati Foundation hosted girls from Ubuntu Girls Club for their annual trip Timbavati Foundation.

The girls experienced game drives, took part in activities and and did yoga on a deck in nature.

Here is what the team at the Timbavati Foundation had to say:

“A very special annual trip to Koru Camp for the Ubuntu Girls Club. Game drives, yoga and meditation sessions and self-reflection. These gladiator girls not only challenge the silence and restrictions that society pressures them with, but they have created a sisterhood of support for one another. An unbreakable bond of trust and respect among themselves. Thanks for hosting us Koru Camp!”

Koru Camp offers transformative experiences for individuals from disadvantaged communities.

They provide immersive nature experiences, conservation education, and practical skills for sustainable living.
