Giyani hero brings mobility and hope

Community member Miyelani Ramojela brings hope by sourcing wheelchairs for those in need, urging locals to support and uplift others.

LIMPOPO – A heartwarming story of community spirit and compassion is unfolding in Giyani and Mbambamba-ncisi, where two individuals struggling with mobility are receiving life-changing support thanks to the efforts of a local good Samaritan.

Miyelani Ramojela, a dedicated community member, has taken it upon himself to help those in need of wheelchairs. His efforts were sparked when a woman in Giyani posted on Facebook asking for assistance. Despite some early communication challenges, Ramojela managed to organise the donation and delivery of a wheelchair to her.

Encouraged by the success of that initiative, Ramojela is now appealing for help for a five-year-old boy in Mbambamba-ncisi who also needs a wheelchair.

“With the support of the community, we can make a real difference in his life,” said Ramojela. “Every contribution, no matter how small, counts. Together, we can give hope and mobility to those who need it most.”

He added that helping others not only improves lives but also inspires a culture of giving. “Your kindness can spark a ripple effect, encouraging more people to step forward and make a positive impact.”

Anyone who is able to donate a wheelchair or offer assistance is encouraged to contact Miyelani Ramojela directly at 082 714 8155.
