Vision Pre-Primary gets TLC from SCS

Southern Cross Schools learners revamped Vision Pre-Primary in Acornhoek, creating a vibrant, safe space for young children.

HOEDSPRUIT – Learners from Southern Cross Schools’ (SCS) external community service committee recently spent a day giving back at Vision Pre-Primary in Acornhoek.

The group arrived ready to brighten the school’s facilities, having already created a colourful classroom mat from recycled plastic packets as part of their preparations.

On the day, learners painted and revamped classrooms, built a fun outdoor play area, and repaired and improved the school kitchen.

Their efforts transformed the learning environment into a welcoming, safe, and engaging space for the young children.

“This was about more than just paint and tools,” said Alex Adams of SCS. “It was about lending a helping hand, bringing smiles, and making a lasting difference for children in our wider community.”
