Hoedspruit goes pink for breast cancer awareness

Join Hlokomela’s Takkies4Tieties walk at Korongo House on October 25. Dress in pink, bring your fur baby, and help raise awareness for breast cancer.

LIMPOPO – Hlokomela will be hosting its annual Takkies4Tieties fun walk to raise awareness for breast cancer.

The event will start at Korongo House and end at Hoedspruit Padel on Saturday, October 25. Registration will be from 07:00, and the walk starts at 08:00.

Entry is R50 per person or R200 per team of four or more participants (including dogs).

Fees are payable at the gate; a card machine will be available.

Participants will also be able to buy raffle tickets at R50 to stand a chance to win great prizes.

“Visitors can buy as many raffle tickets as they like and are encouraged to dress in pink or in any way relating to a positive message towards breast cancer awareness. There are amazing prizes for best-dressed individuals, team prizes and dogs that will be announced on the day,” said MJ du Preez of Hlokomela.

“We are looking forward to a great event and fun-filled family day. But most importantly, to raise awareness for breast cancer.”
