Community spirit shines in Phalaborwa road repairs

Volunteers in Phalaborwa repaired a flood-damaged road near Kingfisher Private School, filling potholes and easing traffic for the community.

LIMPOPO – Kingfisher Private School in Phalaborwa has thanked its neighbours who stepped in to repair a flood-damaged road near the school.

Armed with shovels, spades, and plenty of community spirit, the volunteers filled several large potholes, preventing further damage to vehicles and easing a few morning commutes in the process.

The school said the initiative is a true reflection of what can be achieved when neighbours work together.

“A huge thank you for the fantastic work and for taking the time to help.

“Communities that lend a hand grow stronger together,” the school said.

“We truly appreciate your efforts; those potholes didn’t stand a chance.”
