Soccer Mania: Liverpool topple Wilson Express
Simon Liverpool produced the biggest upset recently when they edged Wilson Express 2-1 to topple them from the helm of the Mopani Sab League Stream A log.
The defeat for Express, gave Mamaila Citizen a boast to stay at the summit of the league after collecting four points from the possible six to go two points clear against the now second placed Wilson, who are now on 49 points.
Mamaila played a 1-1 draw and edged Silawa Hotspur 2-1 whilst Express played one game which they eventually lost.
Though the top two teams lost some points, the high flying Mpepule United, who are gunning for the top sport, failed to take the advantage after the lost 2-1 to Mamanyoha Golden Arrows prior to thumping Gezani United 5-0 Saturday.
In the Stream B, Baobab Zero Fake FC occupy the first spot with 49 points after their great outing against the Sekororo based sides, Makgaung Ratanang FC and Balloon Black Valtures, with later receiving the hottest rod after they were crushed 5-0 on Sunday while Ratanang lost 3-0 on Saturday.
Peace Khoza’s charges, Nkowankowa Barcelona moved closer to the current log leaders with one point adrift after they collected maximum points against Dinoko FC and Try Again FC.
