GALLERY: It was all about food, fun and wine

Come rain or shine, the annual Magoebaskloof Food, Beer and Wine Festival did not disappoint.

It was held in Haenerstburg this past weekend. Locals were treated to various food and wine stalls, not to mention some local craft gin and beer brewery stands.

The mood was set with local bands performing for the crowd, ensuring that everyone could groove along while they walked through the different stalls filled with clothing, bags and bounds of food.

The festival lets local businesses showcase their products. Some of the stalls that really attracted festival goers were the different local breweries and the candy stalls.

Pancakes were also a great hit as many people bought more than ten at a time.

The parking area was a bit daunting but that did not stop festival goers from getting to the event. All around it was neatly organised and easy to find in the misty mountain.

Some festival goers even brought their vintage cars to show them off, eager to catch other car lovers’ attention. Festival goers had a great time and are eager to attend the next festival Haenertsburg has to offer, the Spring Festival later this year.
