Tzaneen: Battle of Delville Wood to be remembered with parade

Long Tom Shellhole will be hosting a Delville Wood Day Parade to honour those that fought in this epic battle which is a significant part of South African history.

Tzaneen’s military veterans, Memorable Order of Tin Hats (M.O.T.H.) Shellhole will present a a parade and wreath laying ceremony will take place on Sunday 14 July at 10:30 for 11:00 at the Round Table Club house in Tzaneen.

“Members of the public are welcome, and we are especially looking for descendants of family members that were part of this tragic battle,” said M.O.T.H member Allen Odendaal.
