Security officer turns into a writer
Security officer, Velly Malatji, has shocked himself and people around him after publushing his first book.
His debut book is a 58-page, Sepedi teen drama titled Mantlapolele (nuisance), which targets youngsters from the age of 12 to 17 years.
It is based on common mistakes made by the youth, political challenges and life challenges. Malatji is from Makgagapatse in the Bolobedu area and he has been writing from a young age.

“By writing this book I’m hoping to create a better society, by alleviating the problems of young people when not clearly guided. The copy is R170 and you can get it from Max Publishers, or from Katherine Nel at the Tzaneen Library or from Marie at the Letsitele Library.”
