Basani is a Mrs Universe Africa semi-finalist

Giyani’s very own Basani Malambe is a Mrs Universe Africa 2021 finalist.

She is a registered psychometrist by profession and holds a Master’s degree in professional and personal leadership from the University of Johannesburg.

She is a wife, mother and the founder of Bakwazi Hands of Compassion which focuses on providing psychological support for women dealing with complicated pregnancies as she is a survivor of Hellp syndrome.

She told the Herald that she is passionate about providing career guidance, and life and leadership skills to girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.

”I entered the pageant to encourage women that in life we fall and we rise again.

“They should conquer their fears because thier dreams are valid regardless of their backgrounds.

“Success has no address it belongs to all of us,” she explained.
