Casswell P collaborates with Makhadzi

Pontsho Casswell Ramothwala, also known as Casswell P, is a 28-year-old producer and DJ from Lekwareng village in the Bolebedu region who has recently collaborated with the well-known Venda artist, Makhadzi in producing a song.

“Makhadzi came to our studio while I was busy producing a beat. She immediately loved it and said that she wanted to sing on it! That’s how the song Vhusiwana came about,” Casswell P told the Herald. “It came as a shock to me, but I was really excited as it shows that I am
growing in the industry,” said Casswell P.

He started producing music in 2010 at the age of 16, playing at local taverns in his village and surrounding villages. “I have done many things in my life, but the thing I love best and was good at, was music,” he said. “It stayed with me up to where I am now as a producer.”
He is also an artist at Wanitwamos Entertainment. “Anything that feels good to me, I produce. It doesn’t have to be a specific genre.

“Currently I’m focused on house music. I want to build my brand and leave a mark in the industry. It feels like there is not enough time to do all the things that I want to do, but I have hope that I will achieve it all,” he concluded.
