VIDEO: Prostitutes ‘fight over client’

Residents in Eastdene awoke to chaos on Sunday morning after a fight broke out at an alleged brothel.

Yusuf Joe Tarmohammed, who took a video of the fight, said on Facebook that the concerned house has been taken over by prostitutes after the owner moved out and tenants moved in.

According to him, the police was called twice, once on Saturday night and early on Sunday morning.

They only arrived on the scene after 11:00.

The fight allegedly broke out shortly after one on Sunday morning when a prostitute accused another of stealing her client.

A window was broken and one of the women went to a nearby garage to buy petrol to set the house on fire.

“The whole street was awake,” Mr Tarmohammed said. “I went out with my dogs around 03:00 to tell them to keep quiet.

They started again early the next morning, that’s when I took the video.”

On the video a woman, who acts as the “referee”, can be heard telling one of the others involved in the fight to “Kick her with the knee” and “Don’t pull her hair.”Mr Tarmohammed could not be reached for further comment.

•The identity of the owner of the house was not known at the time of going to press.
