Family search for lost relative

A distraught family is looking for a lost relative believed to be in Middelburg. Madoda Eliot Gininda was last seen by his wife Zanele on the 3rd of May in Tsakani outside Springs.

His nephew, Sibisiso Zwane, told the paper on Monday that the only information the family received from Zanele was that Gininda said he is going to Breyten, where he is originally from, to look for a job.

“It was news to the family to hear from Zanele that my uncle lost his job. He worked for a reputable paper manufacturing company in Gauteng for many years. We were all surprised why they kept his unemployment a secret. We now have questions why Zanele only informed us two days after his disappearance,” cried Sibusiso.

The family has tried locating Gidinda with the help of the Tskakani police in vain.

They say a missing person’s file was opened.

They even went to the local distance taxi rank to check passenger’s registers. Gininda’s friends from Springs, Ermelo and Middelburg have been contacted without a trace of the 42-year-old.

“The only lead to my uncle came in the past week. He is said to be around the Middelburg area.

The family is pleading with the community to assist us with finding our beloved,” said Sibusiso.

Gininda has two daughter’s Mfundo (20) and Minenhle (4), nieces and nephews, brothers Themba and Fana, who are all eagerly awaiting his return home.

Gininda’s whereabouts can be communicated to Sibusiso on 076 869 1118.
