Burglary at Sterns Jewellery

R250 000 worth of stock was stolen at Sterns which forms part of the TFG group.

Broken safe and the robbers mess left behind.

The breakdown of the goods stolen are 52 cell phones, the entire jewellery stock and just under R 1000 worth of petty cash.

The burglary is believed to have taken place between Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The robbers gained access through the bathroom window and broke into the safe.

It is believed that they used a grinder to open the safe and jewellery holders. There are no suspects yet, no arrests have been made and the case is still under investigation.
