The deceased, Thabiso Mashego (23), was allegedly stabbed by Thabo Masemola (26) multiple times in the stomach.

The deceased was visiting his girlfriend for the night when the accused, Masemola, who is the father of the girlfriend’s child, allegedly attacked him.

“We received a call at around 11:00 on Monday night alerting us of our sons death,” said Emma Aphane mother of deceased.

They found him lying on the floor next to his girlfriend.

“He was a good child and did no like fighting at all,” added Emma

The suspect appeared in court on Tuesday, 23 September and his case was postponed to the 6th of October.
