Video: Taxi war turns bloody

A powder keg exploded in Nasaret on Thursday with the shooting of three innocent civilians, including an 11-year old boy, in the ongoing taxi war.

A number of women came together shortly after three people were shot in the ongoing taxi war raging between the Nasaret Taxi Association and the Mhluzi District Taxi Association, to pray for an end to the violence. Feral cries to God for intervention could be heard blocks away after multiple shots rang out around 09:00. The Nasaret community say they are not only under fire of rival taxi lords, their drivers and their passangers, but also the police. Photo: Gerhard Rheeder
