Four suspects arrested for rape in Mhluzi
A girl from eMalahleni who visited her boyfriend in Extension 5 in Mhluzi over the weekend woke up the next morning only to be allegedly held captive for the rest of the day and repeatedly gang raped by her boyfriend and three of his friends.
The girl is believed to be only 20 years old and she immediately reported the incident to the Mhluzi SAPS upon her release.
She apparently told Police that she travelled all the way from eMalahleni just to be with her boyfriend on Saturday night and admitted to having a good time.
But on Sunday morning she was held against her will when three of her boyfriends friends woke her up and allegedly raped her the entire day.
Mhluzi SAPS confirmed this week that four suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been charged with rape.
The names of the suspects cannot be published until they have pleaded in court. They are all aged between 21 and 23 years old.
