White dolls paraded outside court

The bail application for the coffin assault duo has adjourned for lunch.

The state closed its case with investigating officer Dimakatso Bahule testifying about the statement of the victim, Victor Mlotshwa as well as Denton Sithole, a second alleged victim.

Det. const. Bahule said that a case of intimidation has been registered yesterday, wherein a farmer in the Blinkpan area received an SMS that there is going to be bloodshed in Blinkpan and that next time it will be his wife that will end up in a coffin.

This caused muffled laughter from the public bench.

Outside court protesters tied two dolls of white babies to a plank and danced around with it, taking turns to hit the dolls over the head.
