‘Mule’ caught on N4

Another suspected drug mule was caught on the N4 freeway when a vehicle was pulled over for a routine check.

Officers of Relief A made an interesting discovery when they searched one of the occupants who acted suspiciously.

According to Capt. Khanyisile Zwane, police found it strange that all the occupants of the car got out and started arguing with them, except for one. He kept quiet and remained seated inside the vehicle.

When he was searched, police discovered that he was carrying a large quantity of cannabis (dagga) strapped to his body.

The man, who is a Swaziland national, had a T-shirt on. A black bag containing the cannabis, was taped to his shirt and hidden under a jacket.

Msanimpela Gcina Magagula, from Manzini in Swaziland, was arrested on Sunday night and appeared in court.
