Video: iFlight Aviation (iFA)

Professional. Passionate. Prestigious. These are only a few words which describe the unique flying culture that exists at iFlight Aviation (iFA).

www.mobserver.co.za was invited to spend a morning with Middelburg’s own flight school and was, to say the least, impressed by their aspirations.

The professionalism of iFA is immediately noticeable with all the personnel wearing classy but modern uniforms and, of course, aviator sunglasses.

“A professional image is very important to us and we want to recreate the lost, old skool flying culture in the aviation world of today. Here at iFA, you receive one stripe on your epaulette after your solo flight, two stripes when you receive your Private Pilot Licence (PPL), three stripes when you receive your commercial licence and four stripes when you reach your ultimate pilot licence which is an airline transport licence,” says Mr Degald Hacquebord, founder and Director of iFA.

“Our head office is situated in Middelburg Airfield, Hanger 13. We also have a satellite branch in Groblersdal and an advance branch at Grand Central Airport in Midrand. It doesn’t matter what your goals are, you can do any of our qualifications right here in Middelburg.”

• You can also see them in action at the Middelburg Air Show on 23 July 2016.

• Visit www.iflight.co.za for information or send an email to info@i-flight.co.za for qualifications, course specifications and fees.
