Update: Bail denied for Bulgarians
Two Bulgarian nationals arrested at the Middelburg Mall, have been denied bail.
According to information from a trusted source, the men were arrested in February after a security guard noticed one of them attaching a device to an ATM in the mall.
Authorities were informed and a stakeout bore fruit when the suspect was identified after he returned to the ATM to recover the device.
He was followed to a Toyota Etios where another suspect waited. Two camera moulds as well as a card reader were discovered upon searching the vehicle.
George Penchorf Genew (51) and Platen Venew Stanchev (37) face fraud charges in the Middelburg Magistrates Court.

Lt. Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi, Hawks spokesperson, confirmed that the men are also connected to eight similar charges in Nelspruit, committed from December 2015 to February 2016. They will appear before the Nelspruit Magistrate Court on 29 April.
Lt. Sekgotodi said that neither men had valid passports in their possession at the time of their arrest.
