Car recovered, wheels stolen

A Volkswagen Polo that was stolen in Hlalamnandi, was recovered on the same day.

Police recovered a vehicle stolen from Hlalamnandi hours later, but without its wheels.

According to Warrant Officer Lize de Witt, police spokesperson, the owner of the vehicle parked it in front of his house on Saturday 22:30. When he woke up on Sunday at 06:30 he realised his car was no longer there.

Police managed to recover the vehicle at the Hlalamnandi sport grounds hours later. All four wheels of the car were stolen.

No one has been arrested for the crime yet.
