Makola in court for assault, theft

Kgomotso John Makola (26) from Extension 5 in Mhluzi, appeared in the Middelburg Magistrate's Court on charges of assault and theft.

It is alleged that Makola assaulted a 15 year-old boy by hitting him with a stick and his hands and stealing a bag containing an ID book, Canon camera and Sony cellphone belonging to C.H. Roos in April last year.

Makola was released on R1 000 bail and will appear in court again on 22 June for trial.
