Vanoggend marsjeer grondbesetters na Middelburg se sakekern. ’n Joernalis van www.mobserver.co.za word gedreig, ’n stok word teen sy keel gedruk…hy vlug vir sy lewe.
Op sosiale media word grusame foto’s van vermoordes tans rondgestuur met die volgende bewoording:
“That’s why we’ll kill your mothers and grandmothers and rape your wives and children. Boer Bastards!”.
“We’ve only killed 10% of white this year the rate should go up by another 5%….at least 15% per year would do us justice until 2050 (sic)”. Wat in Rwanda gebeur het is te gou vergeet:
“All those who are listening, rise so we can fight for our Rwanda. Fight with the weapons you have at your disposal: those who have arrows, with arrows, those who have spears, with spears. We must all fight.’
‘We must all fight the Tutsis. We must finish with them, exterminate them, sweep them from the whole country.
There must be no refuge for them.’
‘They must be exterminated. There is no other way.’
•What happened in Rwanda was the result of cynical manipulation by powerful political and military leaders. The authorities told the Hutus that the Tutsis planned to take their land. They summoned up memories of the colonial days when the Tutsi overlordship had guaranteed second-class citizenship for the Hutus. “Remember your shame. Remember how they humiliated us. Be proud of your Hutu blood.”
What kind of man can kill a child? A man not born to hate but who has learned hatred. A man like you or me.’
From April to July 1994, members of the Hutu ethnic majority in the east-central African nation of Rwanda murdered as many as 800,000 people, mostly of the Tutsi minority. … The RPF victory created two million more refugees (mainly Hutus) from Rwanda.
