BREAKING NEWS – Plane crashes at Botshabelo

A plane just crashed at Botshabelo, 10km outside Middelburg.

The pilot sustained no visible injuries, but will go for a medical check-up on request of his employer, Platorand Crop-spraying.

According to Platorand owners, Mandie and Sias Steenkamp, the pilot has been hired by the company only recently.

He has ample flying hours as pilot, but is not seasoned in crop spraying.
